I'm happy there are no more T-Tops, the new convertable is ugly, my car is not faster than a Corvette, unless it's going in reverse, but is faster than a Mustang. If you buy an automatic instead of a stick you are missing out a true driving experience. If you own anything with more than 400hp, please go do a track day once in awhile, the car wants it, needs it...yearns for it. If you own a 6cyl Camaro I hope to god it's your daily driver and grocery getter. If you own, or have owned, a third gen Camaro or Mustang, I will use smaller words.

If one more person says to me at a gas station "what year is it" I'm gonna bitch slap 'em. The next person that pulls up beside me on the friggin' highway just to take pictures and starts drifting in my lane, I'm gonna follow them till they stop and beat them with a phone book. And finally the next person I catch leaning on my car will wind up in a missing persons file.

Anyway, just thought I'd say hi and looks like a real fun and informative forum.

Rob, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.



oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

I won't do pictures. You may think what I'm about to write is wierd or stupid...But the wife and I keep this car to ourselves so to speak. It's in climate controlled storage and only comes out once or twice a month or on special occasions. It's very ostentatious, and we are not that kind of people (despite my entrance)...however we do love our Camaro.
