In the near future, I would expect most cars to have just a screen that you program for any look that you want. Any app that the vehicle sensors can support would then be available on-screen.

That's been the rumor for awhile now but Ford didn't want it published. Consistent mid-11 sec 1/4 mile runs have also been consistent but Ford again doesn't wanna make it official. The new GT500 crushes the competition from GM, the world will see, is what a good friend at Ford said. We'll see indeed.

Not true.

The v6 has got a slightly different motor with more power for 2012 (different cams and heads with manifolds built in)

The SS has standard upgraded suspension (fe4) for 2012 as well.

Since when would a body refresh be in order after only 3 model years? The camaro and mustang have typically done it every 5 years or so. Ford has slightly updated the body again this year...in a quicker fashion than normal....obviously due to them falling behind in sales. Not sure why GM would change the body already when it is such a massive success.

Anyways...this looks awesome. I would love to have that app on my car. Great job ford. This just means GM will do it eventually now I am sure. Innovation is a great thing for everyone.

Too early for a refresh. It's doing just fine in sales. Until Ford officially releases a refreshed
Mustang, the current Camaro will more than holds its own.

All the numbers indicated this....why others couldn't and still can't see it is a mystery to me.

Well with all the improvements for launching built into the car, and being able to hit 60mph in 1st gear, and 1/4 mile in 3rd gear, it's no surprise I guess, Erik

You have to dig a little for the info on the GT500....their team isn't pounding it's chest and making questionable claims like a certain other team is.

I hear ya man...my dad worked as a service manager for Chevy for 30 years. I was born and raised on bow ties and horsepower.

I've owned 7 Camaros ( 73, 78, 83, 89, 93, 99, 10 ), and just bought my 1st Vette....I'm a die hard Chevy guy, but you gotta give credit where credit is due.
