Great feedback folks. I battled for a few hours and got most of the car cleared. Didn't get to uncover the other 3. My dd is a 4x4 so no trouble there, just a heck of a lot of snow to clean and having 4 vehicles in the drive doesn't help. I will finish the cleanup tomorrow. Heck they haven't even plowed our roads yet

It is sunny and 45 in Boise, ID! I cleaned the garage then took Lola out for a nice sunshine drive today. Tomorrow it snows again.

Mine is buried as well, and I don't have a garage either, but I did get the car cover from GM (Red w/ black stripes), and it works great not a stitch of snow stayed on the cover. I will take her out again later in the week when this melts. They are forecasting warmer temps.

Congrats and welcome here to C5 - we're glad to have you here.

Wow, that's a lot of snow - the eastern seaboard just got buried. We got 8 inches of snow here near Raleigh, NC - first "white" Christmas since 1947. I couldn't make the 18 mile drive to work yesterday but made it today. We were one of the "few" lucky ones who lost power for 12+ hours too. Sun was out today and supposed to be 60 degrees by Friday. Drove my daughter's Mazda 3 since she's at her grandparents in PA - Camaro will be back on the road Wednesday..

Poor Bumblebee! And I was feeling sorry for my Ruby sitting out in the cold under the carport looking like her butt & hips had been dusted with powerded sugar. Ruby is a lucky girl.

How do you people live in this?! And why?

Being from GA, snow is *rare* and when I drive up north, it boggles me that people would put up with that year after year. Insurance must be horrible in such icy areas. I drive through it only because I have to (job).

Do you own one of those nifty snow plow/blowers for your driveway?

Welcome to the site - and you definitely need to get that vehicle under a roof! I grew up in Bergen County (Old Tappan) and those blizzards thankfully weren't too common. In Colorado now, we've had absolutely no measurable moisture outside Denver for several months. The ski resorts, yes, but not down here on the high plains. Still driving the Camaro and riding the Harley when it's over 50 degrees (like yesterday). Go figure...

Hang in there - it's only water. Just keep it away from the salt if possible.
