I doubt the 6th gen will look better than the 5th gen.

With the exception of the 1st Gen all of the others were around for quite a few years. I don't believe we will see the 6th Gen for a while.

People need to listen to this guy more often. Fenwick is one of the most informed posters when it comes to what's going on.

...love the look of the new Stingray, seems to me some fusion of Camaro styling in it, I hope the new Camaro is also transformed in a similar direction, perhaps with some C7 styling cues??? Now, that would be something....Mr. Welburn should have the Vette design team draw up a Gen 6 Camaro model...just for their prospective on what it should look like since they did such a fine job on the C7.

The fact of the matter is, this car came to market a tad late. The 5th gen Mustang already had five years under its belt as opposed to the 3 years it had in the 60's. Already the new Mustang is coming out and it's apparently taking a different direction in styling.
If the Camaro is to compete with the Mustang, it has to have its own unique styling but cater to the same styling trends that the Mustang and all other cars in its class are adapting to. It's a shame, because I loved the retro movement but it's on its way out. |

I'm in no rush - every time I start thinking like that, it makes me want to stop modding my car. Enjoy what you have!!!!!!!

Jeff Goldblum says "Welllll....." I don't care about depreciation because I'm not selling mine. And it's fun to speculate. But I hope the 5th gen production sticks around for a few more years, sort of. I got mine, but I think the refresh was not exactly in the right direction. So if the 6th gen continues to go south let's go ahead and get it out so we can move on to a 7th, on the other hand, two or three renderings of the 6th gen look pretty cool, and if it looks cool and is lighter, therefore performs better, then I'm ready for it in about 4 years, yeah, 4 years. My car will have 50k miles on it and be ready to retire to the garage and Friday nights and the new daily driver will need to be here.

On the one hand I totally agree with the OP, on the other, let the price fall. I have one, I want at least two more 5th gens, so let the price fall

I see no hurry either.
All the improvements can pretty much be done to the current visual styling or at least by keeping very close to it. On the other hand, I look forward to my 5th Gen becoming unique ASAP :-) |

I am in no rush at all. I am happy with my Camaro and I want to keep on modding mine for a few more years. I am curious to see what the 6th gen looks like, but I am in no hurry
