The non 1LE ZL1, yes. The MRS needs to know when you want the softest setting or the hardest song setting

Yep. Single line at the bottom of the strut.

I think they'd be right at home here. I think the asphalt gets around 140 just being under the sun. Unfortunately GY doesn't sell them here. My contis are about worn out and I'm not going back there. I'll need new tires soon. A super hot weather tire would be awesome here

Yes, don’t ride in the rain with them or in 40F degrees or less, but otherwise they’re pretty good and I feel they warm up reasonably well. Basically, just don’t mash the throttle coming right out of your driveway

Edit: I should mention the positive that once warm, they’re really nice in the twisty roads I’ve been riding on, over hear. Sticking like glue, as they say!

The OEM goodyears (both R and regular) are great tires on the warm/hot & dry. Avoid cold and wet. If you get caught in rain, keep it under 40mph.

Wha? Obviously better safe than sorry, but I drove in snow once - late April snow though, and beside taking slower route (balls not big enough for 80mph) it was fine...
I heard a lot about EOM ZL1 tires no good for wet - yeah, maybe not if you are competitive. They are plenty fine for rainy day for a regular driving.

After 3 pages, lets just make sure everyone is on the same page.

The SS 1LE has the same suspension as the standard ZL1 with mag ride, yes its adjustable.

The ZL1 1LE has the DSSV suspension and, no its not adjustable.

Since an SS 1LE owner posted in this thread, it has made everyone go bonkers due to the confusion.

My rain/wet experience with the OEM GYs on my 2013 ZL1 and the ones that came on my 2017 after they get just a few thousand miles on them are white knuckle on the wheel and in/out of TC/ST on interstate going 50 mph while semis are blasting past you at 75.

Agreed but it seems no one noticed he owns an SS 1LE and the conversation just spiraled out of control after that.
