Dealer called, they flash the ECM and still want go past 85 MPH got to love this car!

Is that the fasten seatbelt icon? Maybe it won't let you go over 85 if it thinks the belts are unbuckled?

Another thought: if it's that (unbuckled belt or a bad belt sensor on either front seat), I'd say it has to be some trouble code that is limiting speed due to a failsafe condition. I hope the dealer checked for codes? Some codes will set limits on operation such as limiting RPM, speed, throttle, etc.

We don't remember but think it's from day one, at first was thinking that changing the tire size made this happen, but when we put the stock one back that did not fix it.

It is but if you put on the seat belt it still only go's 85.

It's not the seat belt, it's the computers not talking to the other.
