Good news and having them racing in NASCAR maybe a reason too as to keeping them alive a few more years. Guess they could race the Malibu or Blazer. And of course since Ford announced a new Mustang for 2024 maybe that too.

That has to factor-in, but Toyota has been racing the Camry which doesn't come in a coupe and they omit the four door aesthetic on the NASCAR version.

LOL at a NASCAR Blazer, but it would just have a matching nose and tail and they'd call it good.

It doesn't say anything about high performance cars... So ya... the response was very relevant to your post. There are all kinds of vehicles that are mechanically identical for years.

...and in our case of the Camaro simply because it was so good that the underlying technology has not developed much faster, so there is no engineering reason for a major overhaul.

What's baffling and disappointing, however, is that gm have been unwilling to even make several small but very valuable adjustments since they launched the 6th gen.

Key 2023 dates:

Build-Out: 8/3/23
Final Dealer Order Submission Week: 6/15/23
Final 2023 Dealer Consensus: June Cycle 1
I’m convinced GM has no idea what they want to do with Camaro.

Such as??

I'm glad they're going to have a 2024 run, but I would be happier if they were doing some kind of final edition with a nice appearance package and at least some modest performance upgrades. My 2018 is running great at 60k miles, but I would be more tempted to trade it in on a ZL1 1LE.
