Any drone issues? I am all about preserving the stock axle back with NPP.
The resonator helped, but the Kooks axle back would still drone terribly without the J-pipes. The J-pipes make the system work without a doubt, but I don’t give a shit about having the valves.

Nope, being in 4th in a 6 speed manual car is pretty much standard operating proceedure my friend.

I'm no dyno expert, so here's a Dumb_Question(TM)...

Why are the SAE Correction Factors so different in the OP pulls when the ambient conditions are not that different?

It’s actually very safe. This shop has several 1,500+ HP builds, and a dyno of this type is needed to be able to hold that kind of power without spinning and tune properly.

Good question. From what the shop owner showed me, this type/brand of dyno has a very elaborate automated weather station. To the best of my understanding the correction factor can’t be tampered with to skew the numbers in the same way you could with a DynoJet. I work in a bike shop, and one could make a DynoJet basically show whatever you wanted it too to an extent.

Interesting read I found on it:

I have seen the Dynojets get tampered with first hand. It’s ugly what some shops will do to get a number.

There's also a learn that the car will go through. The mods work best when first installed but I've seen tuners like Ben @ Weapon X show that after the ECU learns, it will adjust back down where you'll show little benefit, and perhaps negative side effects like in Todd's case where with a TB/Intake it was losing power up top. No guarantee that it was BECAUSE of the TB/Intake but it's highly likely...JMO. Now that said, I personally run an intake and X pipe on both my otherwise stock LT4s. Just makes me feel good. But no idea if it's actually beneficial or in fact negatively impacting the car.
As 2MuchHP said, this lines up exactly in my case. I have no tune, Last fall with the stock tune Before the Rotofab, was running 11.3-4 with decent air @123-126 and with DRs 1.72-1.76 60. Then after the RF I ran 11.17@129. But this spring in the same -1k DA air I am back to running 11.3-4 and mph is 122-almost 125 in back to back runs. Same -1K air and the same low to mid 1.7 60's on DRs.

So to get into the tens with my setup I need to put on the stock intake back on for a while and then install the RF at Atco. It could be a plan!

PS: I bought the RF for the extra SC whine. I did not expect much. More cowbell!

From your post that I quoted, it sounded like the TCM had pulled torque down but I attributed that to being after 3+ months of driving and the ECU re-learning during that time.

I made an inference that apparently I shouldn't have.

Having said that, I am curious as to whether or not that when mods are applied and immediately dyno'd if there is any increase or drop-off over time as the ECU re-learns and/or if the TCM has any input to the ECU in the process of re-learning.
Is this maybe why my torque number is off? I’ve only had the mods on now for maybe 1,000 miles

Factual and great report. Dynos don’t lie. There are variables , but the way I built my 750/735 Z06 was through the dyno through East Coast Supercharging. Sold the car 3 years ago still runs strong ....I can use you info on mine. Thanks.

Great info OP. I am fitting a Roto-Fab dry plus a Premium Modified Throttle Body 95+mm Ported LT5 from Soler Performance. I also have the AWE Touring exhaust on my car. But I will tune the car immediately after fitting the above to maximize gains and make everything work together more efficiently. I don't care about warranty as the car was bought in the US and imported in the UK, therefore the factory warranty isn't valid here.

Has anyone else seen similar gains through tb and regular rf? this seems like a crazy high number factoring in that exhaust on these cars don't really net much... asking because I haven't been tuned yet but have tb and rf, am I really making around 600 to the tire already?

My car made 597whp STD with a Rotofab and AWE touring catback exhaust. Its going to largely depend on the dyno and also which gear they dyno it in. Numbers don't matter a lot when comparing to other dynos, what matters more is your before and after numbers on the same dyno.

In a stick car most likely yes.
