I just did this again this morning. It’s not great as you don’t get enough dirty fluid out of the clutch. I’m gonna have to up the frequency and just do outside bleeders. Don’t even need to pull the wheels. The clutch has a noticeable improvement even doing it this way. The big bottle of Lucas dot 3 synthetic quarterly. Ftw

I did the inside last time. Why would I need to bleed the inside if I’m not introducing air into the lines? I’m doing it mainly to get fresh fluid to the slave cylinder. What method do you use to bleed?

Just precautionary. Anytime you crack a bleeder valve you run the risk of getting air in the line. Just giving you a personal experience scenario. You don’t NEED to.

I appreciate it, I haven’t done it with just the outside bleeders before. Did you do the two man method. Open, Brake pedal down close, repeat? I def don’t want to deal with getting stranded

When that happened, yes I did. I’ve since switched to a single person method using a catch bottle with a 1-way check valve. I can do all 4 corners now in about 40 minutes, once the car is up and tires are off.
