Could be worse. It could look like that butt ugly '69 Camaro you see people swooning over. Old inefficent POS cars belong in the smelter. If you think I'm being serious, get the stick out of your ass. M'kay?

I've heard whispers that it may revolve around the look of gen 4?......

I think they're going to do what ford did and try to evolve the current design. But then again, seeing what they want to do with the vette, they might just go revolutionary again Damn I just contradicted myself lol Still gonna go with what I first said. Evolving the current design while being smaller, lighter and more efficient in power and fuel economy And I'm sure the SS will be a v8

Unless the base V8 is pushing 475hp and under $40k MSRP I'll likely skip the next gen. and pick up a 2015 special edition

Who cares what it is going to look like? I think they perfected it's look in this generation, I really don't want them to change it.

I have a lot of faith in GM and anticipate a repeat of the Gen1/Gen2 transition. Two great models that were totally different. The cool thing is the Gen5 as already without a doubt but it's mark in car styling history. We're driving living legends !!!!!

I can not believe this isn't on the home page. Spy shot at a show of the next Camaro. Now this is just a mock up but you can see the lines. http://www.google.com/imgres?um=1&hl...:0&tx=76&ty=72

In reading one of the Camaro books, which details the Gen 1-4 pretty well and has a lot of nice photos, there are elements from all previous generations in the current one.
I'd like to see the next one take more cues from the 70-73 body style, at least with the front end that I really like more than the 1st gen's. Translate some of these curves into some nice hard body lines to reflect or to improve upon the new Corvette design, and you would still have the 5th gen looking awesome, but the 6th gen also looking awesome as well.

2016 would be fine with me. I just hope that leaves enough time for a fifth gen Z28, and enough time for me to get one, a blue one.

It won't be a 4th gen rehash...not like how the 5th gen is based off the '69 Camaro. The rumors are that it will return to a sleeker design set forth by the 3rd/4th gens rather than an evolution of the 5th gen.

I hope the 6th gen. won't deviate too much in design, if at all, from the 5th gen. Smaller and lighter with an engine upgrade and I'm in like Flint!

..Should be nice, but then again like the 5th gen it's no F-Body. At least it's not going to be a full size car next rehash.
