Looks Great !
I love the way this bolts right in ,no cutting or welding .Make sure to carry a mirror around so people can see how purdy the underside is.Thanks to Frank for the upgraded carbon fiber shaft it looks right at home!

Well some more updates. we have about 300 miles on her now. car runs great. shifts great. the Trans and rear end swap look to be working flawless!!! been tweaking on the car a little getting shift points right and all. to those who want a true bullet proof drive line this is it! still working on the speedo but that is the last t hing to get working.
a little vid of it on the dyno with the new cogs and new numbers. buy my math after we pulled it back from the overdriven rear. it was 664 before the drive line additions look like they absorbed about 20 HP extra. we tested this but pulling the maggie back to the same PSI as it made on the 664 and were about 20 under. not bad for a truck transmission and a 9"! |

Another update. pulled some wiring off the ls3 car and l99. found that the l99 doesn't have any wires for VSS going into the computer. but the ls3 does. sense i converted the whole tune to a ls3 style tune and it has no TCm anymore i added the pins in the the ls3s have. I added them into the pin 71 and 72 (vss high and low) then i took the VSS sensor that is in the 4l80 and wired the high and low to the high and low of the computer. speedo was WAY off but worked. 60 mph read 144. so i took the % off and adjusted my VSS settings in the tune and bingo! dead on what my GPS reads! now the Speedo works in the car and the OD work now also. Things are coming together with the build great. i still have to wire up my rev lights to come on but other than that it is finished up and has about 300 miles on it so far and a few 650-660-690 pulls on it!

So,you took a L99 car and swapped in the 4L80? Only alittle wiring to get the car going?
Any dash lights staying on? Good job guy's. I like the idea of getting rid of this shitty A6. Was told it couldn't be done because the bus system in the A6 cars. |

Lol im not going to give a step by step then everyone could do it and we wouldn't be in business. But i will say it was not to bad of a swap. all in all would take you 2-3 FULL days. the ABS light is on BUT i will be getting a tech2 to delete that next week hopefully. |
