Mine is not a 1LE, but I can tell you that I love the mag suspension. I raced Corvettes in SCCA for 15 years (STO class) and I honestly believe that my new ZL1 would be a better track car, performance wise, than my STO Corvette ever was.

I've settled into running my car in Track steering and all else in Sport. The car is super nimble, rock solid yet very precise in the corners, has great brakes, and plenty of power exiting the corner and on the straights. You stand on the gas and it just bites. I love how sensitive and responsive the throttle is, and how easily it puts the power down. I really love the car!!!

I wouldn't worry about 18 horsepower. Every engine is different. As you probably know, some of the exact same engines will make a few more horsepower than others with the same rating. That alone could account for an 18 horsepower difference. 18 horsepower wouldn't even be a tenth of a second per lap anyway. The car is fast, and more importantly, very easy to drive. You'll love it.
Nice! When I said cage, I meant jumping from motorcycles back into a car. haha maybe one day it will be caged but for now I'm just hoping to get that car under my butt.

As far as the settings you mentioned in relation to steering and such, I have little clue what you mean. I thought the track setting stiffened up the steering, but what other setting are you speaking of? Just curious.

The status is at 4200 and set to be delivered 9/26 but there is no service at the dealer that day so looking like 9/27; end of the month for sure.

Silly question but for those who have ordered, what mileage did the car show up with?

Mine had 9 miles when I first drove it. It was on the showroom floor for a couple months before I bought it.

Thanks fellas.

I can't wait! I didn't realize the car has to be "checked in" by service.

Yeah the dealership performs a PDI on every new car that is delivered.

Mac I struggled with the same issues waiting for a 6th gen Z28 or the "special" ZL1, last year one time only engine option, blah blah blah as the Camaro was being phased out. Tired of waiting so I ordered a new 2021 Camaro which has now been pushed to a 2022 model which is only at 1100 status as of this week. I'm not really sure when this car will be built or delivered but these cars are awesome out of the box. I wish I had ordered my ZLE earlier since no real performance changes have been made in the last couple of years. No regrets....Enjoy!

It's easy to change from KM to Miles. Mine came with 4 miles on it.

My ZL1 is not a 1LE, so I'm not sure about the 1 LEs. Mine has a Mode switch on the console. When pushed, the Mode button will enable different settings for Sound, Steering, and Suspension. Track steering is the least boosted setting. The car can be further freed up by deselecting Traction and Stability Control and then selecting various Track settings like Dry, Wet, Sport 1, Sport 2, and Race.

Yep, I've decided to stay the course. The car should be delivered by the end of the month but of course that's only an estimate. 4800 status.

Track is the least boosted setting? I would think it would be the most aggressive. As I do not have the car in my hands, I can't say for certain but from what understood, track mode would tighten up the steering and make the throttle response more responsive and more firm suspension as you noted. Sorry, still trying to learn.

I believe it's electronic power steering, so my descriptions of boost are probably not technically spot on. By least boosted I mean there's less power steering boost, so that the steering is indeed heavier, but direct, and not twitchy. Tour mode, the most boosted, has a very light steering feel. Think weak old lady who doesn't want to put out any effort to steer the car. Too light for me. Hopefully that description works.
