I'll be changing my wheels in a couple days. I'll post them for sale for 800 without tires or sensors when they get swapped out.

I have the 2" speed engineering headers with their mid pipes connected to NPP muffler. I used Summit Racing lap joint clamps but I still have leaks. I think I just need to retighten the clamps hopefully.

I didn't know about the Permatex, thanks. Here's the new wheels. Bremmer Kraft BR14 19x9.5 34mm offset with 7/32 spacers.

I've got a small puddle of oil in my garage. I popped the hood and discovered a mangled a/c belt and oil on the timing cover. I'm assuming the belt took out the well documented weak front seal, but I'm unsure of why the belt through in the first place. I took this pic and closed the hood promising myself to not let it ruin my day. I'll put it on the lift tuesday and report back with what I discover.

Good Journal. I would highly recommend the Apex ARC8 wheels in silver or anthracite as they are lighter and tremendous on street/track.

Thanks. I'll check those out. I did switch up my tires on the gold wheels. 275/35 R888R out back, and 245 pilot sports up front. What a difference! The grip combined with the 2" reduction in height is very noticeable. The effect of "gearing" with the 26" tall tire is great for the cam. It's a little soggy below 3k, but now its gets through the tach much quicker. I dont like the look with the fender gap, but the performance outweighs the looks. I'll throw a couple pics up later.
I finally addressed the oil leak today. As I suspected, the belt took out the crank seal. I can only assume the belt was knicked when I installed it, and it just tore. |

This was my best pass, and then had 3 consecutive 12.0s @ 117. It was very hot and humid, so im ok with the times. Learning to launch a stick car on a radial isnt the easiest. 3k would bog, and over 4k would sometimes spin a little. 8 passes, and no wheel hop though. Im unsure of the direction of the next round of mods. Dont know if i want to focus on getting the 60 down, or compensate for getting a little more power out of it.
