I love the look and I like the idea of having matching rims when I go racing. I'm a little concerned as to the minimum rim width. Most / all 305 / 35 R 20 tires are saying 10 inch is the minimum. I've always thought you can get max a 1" bulge on either side or 25mm + 25mm. The stock 9.5" rim is 241 mm add in the bulge 291mm. This is a very small profile tire... thoughts? am I just paranoid?

the hellcat guys are able to pull 1.5x 60' times with their boats on this exact tire on a 20x9.5" wheel.

How much did that cost? Did it mess up the finish on the faces at all? Do you have to run spacers?

Is that a 25mm or 1" band? looks like it all went to back spacing. Really love the idea, please share a link and the price...

It cost me $300 per wheel at a place called Wheel Worx right down the street from me. Did not mess up the finish but I had them powdercoated gloss black right after. I have LPO 56h (red stripe) on now so I had an extra set laying around to mess with. I added 1 3/4 inches for a total of 11.25 to the wheel...all backspace and they do not rub (no spacer either) except for the wire harness which I relocated. Just like Oldman said, I kinda wanted the sleeper look. It prob would be fine with the 9.5 wheel but why risk it ? I knew I would be doing 125+ and I'm not taking that chance....it's not worth it to me.

That's interesting, I'm guessing you loved the original wheel because for $300 a wheel you can get a decent aftermarket wheel, maybe even a forged one.
I wonder if welding in a strip like that keeps it hub centric and perfectly balanced. Usually welding on anything cast weakens the metal and makes it more likely to crack. Quote:

I've been so consumed with the super charger I forgot this thread. No rubbing at all. Tires hook awesome even with 570rwhp. I was on it hard today and got a good wag around 100mph.. It straightened right back up? Was a little scary...Must be the hp I am running? I need to do some suspension work also.

I did knock about .1 off my 60'. Went from a 1.85 to a 1.74. The 1.85 was with some practice and rolling into it just perfect. The 1.75 60' is me just mashing the gas and is repeatable. I need more power sooner to see how much better I can do.

Did you ever get the 305s on your stock rims? If so what size? and if you got 5mm wheel spacers wouldn't that eliminate the need for the wire relocation?
