Mine picked up a few decibels when I did the rear cat delete. Should get even louder with 2" LT's and a 3" mid pipe real soon. The OP claims "dyno tuned" so for me buying just on the looks won't work, especially when it involves lying on the ground basically to appreciate your purchase. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Flowmaster fan. It's just when I see a hp claim on something I'm somewhat interested in, I would like to see something to back it up.

Sounds great but yet another thousand dollar plus axle back exhaust. You have the awesome Outlaw system but only make it with single tips. PLEASE make it with quad tips for those of us who want the Outlaw sound and have NPP but don't give a crap about the NPP function.

Sounds really good but the pricing in Canadian $$ ouch....for an axle-back. ^^ Agree with you on this one.

Very easy for them to do. The Outlaw kit is around $500.00 (US) but comes with two tips. Just make a kit with quad tips or a single rectangular tip that fits with the NPP valance. Hell they already have a rectangular tip they stock.

Today is the day! Confirmed $1125 on their website. I too would like to here this with your xpipe. If I'm gonna upgrade the NPP I want it to be a lot louder than stock in track mode and while in tour be like the stock track.

Does anyone have these installed yet? How does the sound compare to NPP in track mode? Compared to Borla, SW, etc...?

I like the sound of this system (at least from video clip).
Would it have drone? I don't mind the drone in track mode, as long as tour mode with valve closed has no drone.

I got a question about the NPP Axleback kit. The kit comes with two mufflers, the Outlaw and the 40 Series Delta, so I was wondering, how are the mufflers mounted? Looking at this pic I cant really tell. The reason I wonder is because its to my understanding that the 40 Series Delta is quieter than the 40 Series and Super 44, is that correct? If so, based on how your NPP compatible axle back is designed with tandem mufflers, would a local muffler shop be able to take a Super44, a regular 40 Series, or even a Super 10 muffler, and cut out the 40 Series Delta from the NPP axleback kit to swap one of those other mufflers in? That way, one could have the NPP function go from "deep & loud" to just "LOUD".
This is the only picture I have to go by, and I don't see how the mid pipes flow into the mufflers or where they split between the tandem mufflers, to see if my idea can work.

The exhaust in stealth mode comes in the side of the 40 and out the inner pipe. In track mode it goes straight the outlaw and out And THRU the 40- it will equalize the pressure so both will flow. The pipes are welded together with the mufflers.

I cant answer that. What we do know is that there is no real HP gain with the OEM NPP. The Delta 40 is probably no real gain over OEM. |
