Any idea when we will be able to place our orders for the ZL1 1LE?

Ordering opens for 2018 models the week of the 10th, I believe. ZL1 1LE should be available to order at that time.

April. Production begins in June.
Check with your dealers as they will have the ordering updates. |

I would expect the same thing to happen here. Maybe late April, early May for pricing. |

Hopefully they release the Nurburgring time for the ZL1 1LE. If the time comes out under 7:20, watch out. That kind of time would definitely get a lot of peoples attention. Especially considering the type of car you can get for $75k, assuming that is the price.
You might get peoples attention who were looking to perhaps buy a BMW M4. The M4 fully loaded goes close to $90k. I am sure there are other cars that the ZL1 1LE could steal a sale from that are much more expensive. Trust me, there are plenty of people with this kind of money that would be interested assuming the ZL1 1LE turns out a great time. In result, this could make getting a ZL1 1LE very difficult for a while. The ZL1 is already low production as is and now you are adding an option. This is assuming the ZL1 1LE gets under 7:20. I know there was a thread talking about it being 3 seconds faster on GM's own track. Imagine what it could do at the Nurburgring. |

I'd LOVE to see a Nurburgring time....Given how hardcore they are billing it as, I don't doubt we'll get something. Fingers crossed that it's dry the whole time! ...for whatever it's worth...I'm guessing 7:16 +/- 3 seconds. |

This may be a crazy thought but I almost wonder if the ZL1 1LE may be SLOWER than the regular ZL1 on the 'Ring because of the aero.
Not sure that would really matter to me because the tracks I run at don't have nearly the speeds they get on the 'Ring. I suspect the 3 second advantage on a normal size track (if there is such a thing...) will do me just fine where I track. |

The increase in traction alone will improve lap times around the Nurburgring as most of the track is cornering. G forces up to 1.1g from 1.06g...That's a huge jump. In addition, this car weighs roughly 120 lbs lighter than the A10 ZL1 that went around there in the last video. And a some of that weight came out of the wheels/tires, improving acceleration. It's looking very, very, good. |

Seriously, order a car without knowing the price?
