Thanks Dub - Dissappointing about the seams. I don't see those seams in the kit, so I am assuming your installer couldn't install without them. I have seen from other posts here, that I do not believe there are supposed to be seams in those locations. Going to talk to my installer to make sure. If so, I am not going to spend that kind of money to get it done. I like the outline of the FIFTY and the stripes and heat extractors on the hood. That looks nicely done. Thanks again for all of your help. Mine goes in Wednesday and I'll post pics when I get it back on Friday!

** Edit - looking at your pics again, I believe the seam on the lower fascia on each side IS supposed to be there, the ones up top, I do not believe so. That's just what I get from looking here: http://www.xpel.com/paint-protection.../Camaro/SS_(V8)

There is. It's run by O-Tag.

The sign up link works. I believe I signed up when the registry was started. But the View Registry link comes back as not found error 404.

I'm an Adam's Polishes guy right now. So I'm using all Adam's products. Works awesome, no scratches or swirls in the clear coat. I buy their stuff by the gallon now, can't say enough good things. I guess the price is steep, but you get what you pay for...I guess.

You need to get some Adam's rinseless, double soft micro fiber, and some waffle weave towels Adam. So, so easy to maintain that shine. I don't like soaking the car down to get it clean.

It is true that a rinseless leaves no scratches, if properly done.

I think there are just far too many angles to not have seams. I have them, and when you look for them they are there. Corner cuts allowing for that "wrap" effect also..

I've switched over to their stuff and too buy the gallons. It's pricey but it's great stuff. Get what you pay for. I mean the car wasn't cheap and it's awesome!

I will need to add that to my list. I have the micro fiber towels, not the waffle ones yet.

Yeah I hate having to get the car wet and everything to clean it. But I do it. Their foam fun helps a lot. But yeah if this method is faster and easier I'm all for it.

Speaking of Adams products. What do you use for the vinyl matte stripe on the hood? I'm looking at ordering some Chemical Guys matte vinyl spray cleaner.

I just wipe it length-wise with the rinseless. Never have an issue, looks like new.
