Give it another listen, and tell me if you hear the birds right at the edit point of the video at approx. 0:34. Perhaps you will hear the bird and the S/C whine. You can hear the birds much louder in an earlier point in the video to get an example of the chirping sounds like.

I not only don't hear the S/C whine, I hear birds chirping (and a ton of tire noise). Listen carefully to the exact moment after the video edit point approximately at the 0:34 mark.

Are the birds what people are confusing with S/C whine?

In any case, there is no S/C whine at all that I can hear at the 0:34 mark, only birds and tire noise. The engine is at closed throttle at that point as far as I can tell from what little engine noise I can hear.

But this doesn't rule out a S/C in my mind, because we need a good shot of the car coming at us with the throttle open. We don't get that in this video, as far as I can see.

Most of the street clips there is a ton of other traffic noise at the key moments.

My verdict: Can't determine engine from this video, but no discernible S/C noise.

The original ZL1 video? I can hear that S/C without any question, and without headphones.
I definitely agree.

Maybe if it's blown which sounds that way to me. Maybe they'll slap a bigger blower and be the new LT5.

Did anyone else notice the rear tire slippage on the rim in the pictures above? Look at the hash mark on the tire relative to the hash mark on the rim and valve stem. Tire has definitely rotated.

I hear it more in that clip. Unless that's intake noise of some kind, it sounds supercharged to me.

Nice catch. Looks like at least an inch, unless it fully rotated. But I don't think so.

I always like to set my cup down before entering a turn.

That's not a cup holder. That's either the panic button or passenger eject button.

Yep understood but I thought they would be using the media blasted wheels already. To me it says that this car is putting down WAY more power than the Gen 5 and hooking up HARD.
