I chuckled after reading this. You can catch me on the HC forum praising the Camaro at times and even acknowledging the ZL1 will in fact be quicker and an all around better performer. Maybe it's because I've owned them all. I'm unbiased. At the end of the day I'm honest.

Just amazing to me, the amount of things being said about a car which most people on this forum have never owned but quick to pass judgement including moderators.

it is afer all the internet...and your anecdotal experience with the cars is great for you, but by no means equates to absolutes.

Anecdotal or not doesn't matter as long as the experience is described accurately with a minimum of emotion.

Not everybody can do this - at all, never mind consistently.

I do have some idea where Finally is coming from with respect to positive comments for Camaros on a forum for a different make car . . .

Enthusiasm is fine, and it doesn't have to equate to tunnel vision.

It seemed like they put a pretty good effort into the Gen 5 ZL1, at least the results were phenomenal. Just look at all the people dragging this car and heavily modifying. I do agree they need that NHRA certification!

I got a feeling we will see a 10.4-10.5 at the 1/4 mile in stock form.

That would be great but depending on final power (670-680) I'm hoping for 10.7 10.8 in stock form add 100 hp and DR and see the 10.4 10.5. I will take mine to the drags bone stock then start going faster

10.7 in the 1/4? I just don't see it being that fast. Depending on the final HP figure. I would guess low 11's. We will see
