Believe it or not she'd let me keep it in there all year if I wanted to. If I do go Z06 I'll just drive that year round too!

And I can see it now. Everyone in their winter cars and there you are in a z06 with a permagrin.

Just a heads up guys and gals. I’m starting to see others (F1FTY and non-F1FTY 6th gen Camaros) report HUD issues.

Did some digging and this is what I found....

It’s currently a TSB only. The fix (which we all can do ourselves) is pull the fuse. I’m having a hard time finding the exact fuse at the moment, so do this instead....unplug the battery in the trunk for 5 minutes. This will clear/have same affect. May have to reset some of your personalization settings but will bring HUD back.

Unless something drastically changes this probably won’t turn into a recall. But a second TSB will be released or they will issue a revision to this TSB with a software update to the HUD module, if they determine software will fix it.

Thanks for the HUD info.

Just made a stop in Henderson, NV. Headed home in an hour or two. Came up to add another Vert to the family. My son scored a great deal so we drop up and picked it up today.

Nah. It’s all good. My truck is at 40k and counting and the Camaro is just shy of.....4K.

I haven’t had any HUD issues either. But seeing people report it and found a TSB on it.

And similar mileage. And yeah hoping to take mine out later this week as well.

Hey I'm not proud of it! Just tough to get enough free time to really drive it more than the usual stuff. Hoping to do more this year (If I keep it).


Pulled it out of storage today. Fired right up thanks to the trickle charger.

Took for a little spin but wanted to get back to wash the salt off my truck. The car didn't miss a beat.

You will laugh when I tell you I work from home! 20k includes some road trips but I am guilty of getting in that car every chance I get. I need to put the trickle charger on the truck...
