I've had to finish up the heater core install on the Impala around work. Spent about an hour this morning on it and 1.5 hours this evening. The inner fender is back on. I wire-brushed the battery tray and hold down and will paint those items tomorrow along with installing the heater hoses. Gonna try to clean up the interior, again, tomorrow night.

This was the biggest repair I'll have to do to it. The rest is sorta gravy.

Glad the Impala is coming along well Rick.

Good morning crew. Still no rain in our little town. It goes north or south of us or dissipates just before it gets here. Off to Nashville today. Hope I can make some progress on getting my caseload distributed out to others today. HAGD

Accomplished quite a bit today, both at work and on the Impala. Only have a few things to reinstall in the interior.

I also replaced a battery cable and a cable end.

Good work Rick. My alarm went off late this morning for some reason. Likely it will be a slow day again today but I will try to get some more things done toward the job change. We may finally get some rain this evening. It would sure be a good thing. Everything is really dried out. Have a happy Hump day!

Thanks Jan!

I lost the Impala keys for about 45 minutes this morning. Had to enter the car my sliding a wire between the side windows to pull up on the lock button. Been years since I've had to do that.

We finally got some rain. First a good hard shower for about an hour while I was at work then a good steady moderate rain while I was in my exercise class. I made more progress toward the job change. I think this is going to be easier than I thought. I did a mile & a half of walk, fast walk, run, then the dance exercise class then the 10 min abs class. I am tired now.

Oh yeah! There are only the necessary systems needed for the engine to run. Pollution be damned. :p

I finished the Impala up today, as it is all back together and cleaned up, again. Let it run for a while to burp the cooling system and check for leaks. The heater box is getting hot, so all should be working as intended. It will need a master cylinder soon, but I will either have mine rebuilt or will buy an original one at Desert Valley Auto Parts (they are near me) and have that unit rebuilt. The aftermarket parts are a "one style fits all" contraption where you insert threaded plugs into the fittings that are not needed.

Next project is to pull all the wheels and drums off and adjust the drum brakes up. The fronts need some attention.

Good morning crew. There is still a little left-over rain around this morning. Weather is supposed to be milder behind the rain. Off to Nashville again today. It will be another busy day between clients & preparations for the job transfer. Have a good day everyone.

Another day closer to changing jobs. I had closure sessions with a few more of my long time clients and they are in process of transferring to other therapists. It is sad but I have done it many times before. Almost Friday.

Back from Alaska visiting my son and grandkids. No sightseeing this time, just helping and out and hanging out with the family. Back to life tomorrow.....
