Not much been going on with the car here lately. It's been at GPI for a bit getting the kinks worked out with changing over to Holley Dominator ECU. While they were getting it dialed in the alternator decided it would only work intermittently then just quit working all together. That was causing some fueling issues to pop up. The alternator was sent out for repair and thats all fixed now.

There were signs that something was going on with the charging system prior to taking it to GPI. When I switched over to the lightweight battery it started out working just fine. Several road drives no issues. Then on the way to work one day it just quit charging. I swapped it back over to the OEM battery and all was well. Timing of that made me think it was related to the lithium battery

Anyways, now the Gateway that allows the Dominator to communicate with the GM can bus system is having issues. So the Gateway is on the way back to the mfg for inspection/repair. Hoping thats a quick turnaround so I can get the car back home soon.

I've been eyeing the Holley Pro Dash display and thinking of swapping over to that before long. I do have a slot reserved in March to get a 10pt 8.50 cert cage put in, so I might wait till after thats all done since the dash has to come out for the cage install.

I've been doing good & thanks for asking! I have been walking a lot and with it getting cold I actually bought a treadmill so I don't stop that trend. I tried walking loops in Walmart & Lowes but with the holidays they were just too crowded for that. Now anytime I get bored I can hop on it and walk for a bit.

That's good to hear, at least your up and about. Yeah I don't get to walk around all that much, me knees are pretty much done with but I do usually make it to the gym for a little strength training about once a week on average. But I hope your progress continues.

GPI called and said the car is ready so went and picked it up Thursday morning.

Everything is working like it should and boy it sure felt good driving it around before putting on the trailer.

Now to start working on the winter mods.
