No way is it down 15-20hp over the C7 when it has shorty headers the C7 does not have.

Since when does the camaro v6 with louder, more free flowing exhaust make LESS hp than the Cadillac v6.

468hp v8 (with dual mode exhaust)
342hp v6 (top trim again)
275hp turbo 4.

Those are my guesses.
I agree with you on the v6 power rumor being lower than the 335 Caddy claimed being odd.. I was expecting more than 440hp as well, but wasn't expecting 470 levels.. We shall see I guess.

Front and sides are ok to me, rear facia is a total fail! The 2014 refresh tailights bothered me a little but i could deal with it, but now with the 6th gen i hate the rear spoiler, lights, and bumper cover. Those stupid angles they have under the tailights drive me crazy! It looks like a slap job off other gm sedan lines, like if gm started at the front with a good idea, but by the back end of the car they ran out of talent!

It is an entirely different powertrain, drivetrain and chassis. Those things don't happen mid-cycle. Mechanically it has virtually nothing in common with the 5th Gen. It is a radically different car in almost every way. That alone is more than worth a generation change if they left the paneling and aesthetics exactly the same as the 5th Generation.

I feel so sorry for the engineers for these car companies. The car will smoke the 5th Gen in pretty much every way possible and has been built on an entirely new chassis with an entirely new powertrain and drivetrain, addressing the "heavy Chevy" complaints of Camaro owners for the past 7 years, and all they get is whining and complaining because the new generation looks similar to the old generation when they told everyone 14 months ago that it is going to look very similar.

Camaro owners asked GM for a 5th Gen, just lighter and more nimble with more technology in both the motor and the interior. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THEY PRODUCED!

Holy crap. The George Costanza BONEHEAD MASS AUDIENCE shows itself!

In reality, the Camaro dynoed anywhere from 10-20rwhp higher than the Corvette because the Camaro had a solid axle and the Corvette had IRS. This has been going on for literally almost 2 decades.

It doesn't matter what GM rates the LT1 at in the Camaro. It's the same motor as the Corvette.
This.

At least generation change-wise.
Its why German cars are so boring. Its like spot the difference with a "requires electron microscope" appended in the fine print.

Yeah I think that badge would still look better on the tiny grille on top.

But their cars are faster? The coyote engine is badass. If that's the 2016 camaro, the 2016 mustang is nicer.

Well I wasn't really a fan of the headlights but from certain angles it starts to grow on me. When it's pulling out of the dark garage with those lights on straight ahead it looks really nice, but the look of the front from the side is what I really don't like. The whole side seems bland to me, but there's plenty to do to fix that. I think Ford made a mistake by coming out with their other cars first, giving us all the impression the Mustang looks like a fusion since they share grille styles, along with the focus and everything else... But BMW does the same thing. They're trying to create an image but they should've started that with the Mustang so we'd be saying the fusion looked like it instead of the other way around

side note... this isn't the interior is it?
Interior is from a 5gen old video. Look at the ac controls

I love EVERYTHING about the front. The lights. The fogs. The nostrils. The "big mouth" lower grill. Even the "toilet seat" hood and location of the SS emblem.

The REAR; however, seems very bland.

Sides- I obviously cant tell, but I think that side profile shot is going to show a much more "hatchback" looking Camaro. Not to the extent of the new Mustang, but def noticable vs a Gen 5.

And, if this thing comes in at any LESS than 450....Im clear for takeoff on a used C7. I was just waiting to see how this turned out.

Just like the 2014-2015

GM has managed to make the ugliest ass end on any Camaro I've ever seen

I freaking Love the front, but God the ass is ugly.

I have to agree with this. The Sierra is a very strong design. I like it a lot more than the Silverado (despite being on the same platform). I hate saying this, but it appears that Chevy's designs have been hit or miss for at least the first half of the decade.
