Bowled like that for years, can't do it now. Bowled Sunday and shot a 266,203 and a 201. Don't know where the 266 came from but I'll take it lol. Not bad for being off for 2 weeks

That would be me.

My first game I left 5 splits. I was REALLY pissed. I'm just not a good enough bowler to make adjustments like that. I kept going high and leaving splits. Ended up just standing left and swinging the shit out of it.

When I find it going high, and I don't like moving left and swining it that much, I just throw with more speed to get it down the lane longer.

My problem is with the way I throw, more speed comes with more revs. I have a hard time keeping the same revs and speedig it up.

I try to pancake the ball and it works but it's inconsistant. I started to loft it later in the third game and that seemed to work ok.

that is another good option as it gets it further down lane before it goes into the roll and hook.

Seems to work well at times, but it changes my release to a more inconsistant one too.

Well, today in bowling class it went a little better. The lanes actually had a little backend...hardly any carry down and FOR ONCE no over under. I guess there wasn't as much traffic on them prior to me or something.

Also, take a look at the standing sheet for this week....

This is why I hate handicap sooooo much. hahah

My team says bowling is stupid...the best team finishes last and the worst teams finish first.

Also, if you are wondering why my name is circled under high average and series its because my team goes... "how are you gonna let that trent kid beat you?" I replied...anyone can get hot one game, but its consistency that matters... hence I circled the two important ones and X'ed out the non important one.

I bet if you practiced enough and got good enough to do it well, i bet you'd see at least a 10 pin increase in your average...

adjustments mid game make and break a good series.

I can't count how many times I've missed a 750+ series because I couldn't shoot a big 2nd game because I was too stubborn to move off my 1st game line... so shoot 250-210-260.... or instead of just shooting a high 600 go 220-235-180 for a measly 635

So true...........a good bowler knows when to adjust and is not afraid to make that adjustment. Now I just wish I could do what I know.
