Have you ever checked your Body Fat percentage? The leaner the better your health will be and less chance of injury. Ideally women in their 50s should have a Body Fat between 23-31%. 60s 24-32%. Sounds extremely high I know, if a gal weighs 150 pounds w/a BF of 25% that means 37.5 pounds of her is FAT. And that's good even though it sounds crazy high.

Men carry less fat, so for a man in his 50s his Body Fat should be between 18-24%. In his 60s 19-25%. We use one of those scales that analyze Body Fat. It gives you your weight, Body Fat %, Body Water %, Bone Mass, and Muscle Mass.

It's best to do your numbers daily then average out weekly to get an accurate look. What you've eaten the day before can greatly affect the results, so averaging over a week, and average weeks for a few months you'll start to get the best idea of how your body is functioning.

You can always find one on sale for $ 30-40. Hubby does his numbers daily, and has a log book averaged weekly, then monthly, then six months, finally yearly. He's been tracking his numbers for like a decade now. Men - they do be crazy sometimes!

I have a scale that measures body fat, water, muscle & weight & try to get on it every week or 2 but don't have my numbers memorized. I also bought electronic calipers but hubby won't help me use them & I could never get them to work trying by myself. Using both would give me a more accurate reading but I just rely on the scale. I'll look at it when I get home & let you know what it is at currently. I don't think that is the issue. Just a weak back. I probably need a good sports medical assessment & some physical therapy or good guidance on exercises to strengthen it but my insurance SUCKS! I just have other things I need or want to spend my $ on right now.

Does anyone of us old farts remember the previous years of Camaros being as popular as they are now? All these big get together that we travel so far to.
I don't believe the 4th gen was nearly as popular at the 5th gen, but the third gens were very popular at the beginning of their run. 1984 saw the second highest production of Camaros. Back in the day, IROC's were the car to have.

Second gens were very popular and had a very long production run. 1978 was a huge production year, the most Camaros built in a model year.

Hello & welcome aboard '6828.

Another rather slow day. I managed to finally get the fabric to make my seat cover but had to pay more for it than I had hoped. Still a lot cheaper than buying the ones I found on line. Everything or these cars is ridiculous. I was tired of fooling around & need to get busy making it. I had time to take a yoga class & my dance exercise class plus 10 minute abs class. I'm tired but it feels good.

Welcome 68!

This arrived today. I'll pick the real car up August 1st.

Still dealing with IT issues today at work, but I completed as much as I could.

Not sure I shared this old slide here, but it appears I was at Stone Mountain in the 60's. I am posing with my sister. Our car is the '63 Chevy to the far right (the headlights are visible), not the Plymouth on the jack.

Doesn't my sister look happy?
I had seen that photo before! We all have those awkward vaca photos. The NAACP wants to remove the stone carvings (Confederacy)

VERY cool!!! Am a major fan of the 65-66 Impalas as I had several when they were a dime a dozen. One day, I'd love to find another '65 Impala SS 409........good luck with that, right?

Well, I could settle for a '66 Impala SS 396 or 427.....

Can't wait to see your new project car!! (very envious!)

That is cool!

I totally overslept this morning. My body really needs more sleep after workout days now. Busy morning so far too but I am keeping up with my documentation so far.

Thanks. I'll probably post up some road trip pics.
