My mom's facility had independent, assisted and long term care, which was also a rehabilitation facility. I wasn't happy with the rehab facility, which was also long term care. Check the places at lunch to see how they are with the residents.

We decided on a nursing home for daddy & will have him moved today. They we have to deal with clearing out his room at thee assisted living facility & getting rid of his bedroom suit & other furnishings. Off to work now.

Rick - - hope your air conditioner is working correctly and you have that pool filled. 100 degrees !!

Diane - - I would recommend the Abe Lincoln museum in Springfield Illinois as a daytime stop on the power tour. It is very well done and does not take to long to go thru it.

The local car guys are having a cruse at 5:00 to 8:00 on the first Saturday of each month. Going to take the ZL1 and the 69 Camaro. Will not have a chance to wash them due to work. Better to be there with a dirty car then not be there at all.

My daughter graduates from grad school in 2 weeks. She informed us this morning she has landed a job at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She seems very happy.

Good Friday Morning crew. I hope my dad's first night at the nursing home went well. We will be cleaning out the rest of his stuff from the assisted living facility this evening & this weekend. We have our club car show & drag race event tomorrow but all the fun has been sucked out of it by all the drama. I actually dread it.

Jan, the car club folks might just have to understand it if you didn't make it at all or just put in an appearance and only stayed for a short while. Maybe long enough to get one or two passes down the track in. I know I'd let you cut in line ahead of me.
