I saw one like it at a NASCAR Race in CA.,
then hunted to find a builder.

It creates alot of interest - especially on the freeway.
It's fun to watch people passing...then when they realize
what they are looking at...they don't complete the pass quickly..

The trailer you are looking at - looks great -
But - I would HIGHLY recommend a trailer with a
Driver's escape door - opening the door & getting out - is MUCH easier.

I was thinking the same thing...those inside wheel wells maybe in the way since the car is so low.....I like your trailer....I would just add a fake life like german shepherd with a montion senor speaker of one growling.....

I insisted on the Drivers escape door...
..and they did a excellent job making it work...
the inside ramps up....and the driver door clears perfectly!

I'll bet it does exactly what was intended. I know I'd slow to take a look.

Thanks for the tip. Others have said the same thing. It would have to be placed somewhere above the fender wells to allow opening the door. So you think the interior fender wells wouldn't interfere with opening the door? I'd imagine the door paint would eventually get scratched with me climbing in and out of the window, huh? I may have to specify that when I order then.

Hey! Guess what! I got the call at 2:30 today! My ZL1 has arrived!!!



I'll pick it up tomorrow. They'll be inspecting and detailing it today. Roads are still wet today anyway. The only thing I have to be careful about is containing my excitement... with temps in the 40s, tires are hard and motors make more power. That could lead to disaster if I'm not careful with the throttle.

Thanks for all the info and keeping me settled while I wait. I sure wish other sales reps would be more like you - taking a genuine interest and going the extra mile.

Yes, a different dealer promised me they had an allocation and created the order. I haven't heard from them since

At this point, it seems like the dealers around here just can't provide a straight answer. I'll continue my search...
