Man, I'm just slow.
Saw that someone has installed one with red trim. I'm guessing they painted it themselves or had it done. Personally I was thinking of doing just what F1FTY did and reuse the chrome trim piece with the chrome button. I'm liking the subtlety. I'm usually pretty good with dash mods, performed many DIY radio upgrades over the years. However I'm always a little concerned about how these things come apart. Do it the wrong way and you're .

Over in the thread that started this, can't find link at the moment, I asked the same question and was told it's a small tab that holds the trim to the button.
