Boooo, more snow here too. We just may beat the all time record of 107 inches of snow. Currently we're around 105. Should get another 3 by the end of today. Plus more snow later this week. IT JUST WON'T END......

I guess this is the Winter that Could......

We have around 8 inches of snow & still flurries. Ice/sleet under the snow so I will not be going anywhere. Stay safe & warm everyone. I'll get some pics & post them in a while.

A snapshot look'n out my front door. The three to six inches of forecasted snow is already over seven, and it's going to snow until mid nite or so......

It was 60 degrees & rained for over 24 hours before changing to freezing rain, then sleet then snow. So all remaining brine was washed off the roads & no chance to re-treat. Now it is in the teens so salt is not effective. Oh, if I really wanted to, we could get my 4X4 Sierra out & go places but at my age, having plenty of paid days off & all the crazy drivers who have never seen this sort of thing, no way would I try to drive to Nashville. You should have seen all the wrecks in Nashville this morning & some roads completely closed. Yeah, I know, us southerners just can't handle it. You are right. No way could I live up north. Ya'll can have it.

Well we've reached that point. The snowblower can no longer throw the snow over the embankment. The driveway now has a wall of snow on each side that's around EIGHT FEET high down to about four feet in the low spots.

So the snowblower, when clearing the edges, throws the snow against the wall and in-turn it just drops back into the driveway. Never seen this much snow.

It's just Ridiculous at this point. We also have to clear a huge area in the back yard for the dogs to do their business. The snow is way way too deep. They haven't been able to venture in the back forty for over a month.

Anyway, a few pics of the now cleared driveway, and yes it's still currently snowing and will be past midnight, also one of the back forty!

Lazy day around the house. I'm guessing the office in Springfield will probably open an hour of 2 late tomorrow. The sun came out & melted some of the snow on the roads but temps are supposed to drop into the single digits tonight & it will refreeze. Suits me, tired of being in the house. Productivity-wise timing was awful for me as Tu & Th are my busy days, but can't control the weather.

What is that glowing ball along the horizon?

All signed up & motel resv. made. Going to Maryland nationals. Haven't decided on 5Fest yet. More worried about getting all the new mods done first.

Yahooooooo! What a Beautiful Day! A pic of the driveway this morning and the back forty, but we have SUNSHINE. Not a cloud in the sky! As it turns out we ended up with almost a foot of snow, 11 inches. Hopefully this was mother natures last hooray.

Your pics are beautiful but frustrating Normagene. On C5 on my computer they show up upside down. I was going to try to rotate them for you but when I save them to my desktop, they show up already right side up. Weird!

The office is opening 2 hours late today so here I sit waiting to go in. I figured as much so I slept in a bit. I didn't have a client scheduled until 10:00 anyway so I was not planning on getting in a rush no matter what. Mike will take me in in the Sierra then he needs it to do his job. It is beautiful bit frigid. Sun is out shining on the snow but it is not budging. It was 1 that is one degree, when I woke up today with a stiff breeze so wind chill is brutal. It is MARCH! We are breaking all kinds of records for low temps & snowfall. Stay safe & warm everyone.

Happy Friday all! Our weather, while bad, has not been nearly the catastrophe you all have endured. Looking forward to warming temps here and spring! Normagene, your pics make me want to go skiing!

Getting ready to blow this Popsicle stand for bike week in Daytona. How bout a Friday photo ? Hope this works on my phone but my oldest grandson and my newest granddaughter.
