Same as my dealership. I wanted to lock in some better rates before Biden’s economic really takes a shit but it was a no go with the dealership. In a way I’m glad now seeing how unpredictable this whole process has been.

To exscat I’d say lawyer up and see what your options are. There is a dealership one mile away from my place that I’d never do business with because they have the scummiest salespeople I’ve ever met. Every interaction felt as if they were trying to pull a fast one on me so I decided to move on from them. Found a good Chevy dealer 45 min away and they will continue to get my business from now on. One can only hope that the dealerships that treated potential customers like crap through this pandemic will slowly fade away for their poor business practices. Sadly there are suckers out there keeping them in business.

My salesman sent me an email today stating my car finally went to 4300 showing it’s in New Boston, MI with intermediate truck delivery. My dealership that had the allocation is in Ft Payne, AL which is in the north east part of Alabama. I’m wondering if anyone else with similar distances, how long of a wait now?

My salesman sent me a text today saying to take it with a grain of salt, but my car is now saying "pending dispatch" and he can now track it in Vin View. He said it may be just in a holding lot, or it might actually be waiting to be put on a truck to ship. Finger's crossed it is the later.

Just an fyi mine started saying pending dispatch end of may. And stayed that way wit no eta or anything until just this week now finally has eta of next monday 7/18

So basically almost 2 months of saying pending dispatch

You gotta be getting close. I ordered mine on 4/11 and had the same TPW as you. I'm guessing you will have it next week. (Hopefully I'm right)

I was just checking the Chevy Inventory Search and saw that my ETA had changed again...now at 8-17. So I hit up the chat and this is what the rep told me:

Thank you for patiently waiting, Dan. Upon checking, your new vehicle is currently in transit via rail headed to a vehicle distribution center in Mira Loma CA with ETA 7/25/2022, subject to change. Upon reaching Mira Loma, however, we don't have ETA to the dealer yet. You may also reach out to the Customer Experience Manager (CEM) of your dealer for more details.

I almost can't believe it's true...I might actually get my car in the next 2 weeks.

Im not sure what to expect now. My dealer still shows my eta is monday 7/18. But just spoke with chat an they said my vehicle is currently in transit from lansing to new boston MI

My salesman did say to take this information with a grain of salt. He's going to keep watch on it, but there's still no way to tell when the car will actually ship out. Could have it within the next week or two, or it could still be months.

Agree but makes no sense dealer would get an eta for first time this week showing Monday delivery if its not on the way

I was very surprised too. The responses have typically been pretty inconsistent and vague and usually referred me back to the dealer rep for more information. But I also emailed my rep and they confirmed it is on a train and the ETA he gave me is 8/3.

Keep in mind GM is building incomplete vehicles so just because the vehicle is built does not mean its ready to ship to the dealer.

As of today my dealer is still showing an eta of monday 7/18. 2 days from now. But i checked with chat last night an they said it’s currently in transit from lansing to New boston MI. So very confused not sure if either one the chat is totally wrong with current location or eta has to be totally incorrect. Because if its indeed heading to new boston MI to get on train dont see how its getting to dealer outside of Philadelphia in a couple days
