I second that. With as crappy as the weather is here in MI it's not like we can enjoy its full potential. Hyperblue we've been in this together since day one, I'm hoping you get yours asap Driski you too!

My dealership called me today to inform me that mine is due for delivery Monday and that they'd received in their first convertible, which happens to have been ordered AFTER I placed my order. I don't know how or why this is happening but it sucks!!!!

Mine has sat at the assembly plant for six 1/2 weeks and has never left....

Waiting for a spot on a truck for almost 3 weeks heading my way.... none to be found.

Because I believe some dealers and picking and choosing how they handle their dealer allocation in an unprofessional manner. The car is hot, the orders are hot, demand is out-stripping supply, and GM is keeping it's foot on the marketing gas. Right now it appears to be a game of WHO you know.

Once the build is turned over to dispatch, GM has no say in timing or method UNLESS a quality issue arises. Dispatch ships per its convenience and in what it sees as cost effective.

If a build goes by rail, a local dealer can contact the local dispatch about expediting and that seems to work. There is nothing on the window sticker that I can think of that tells dispatch the build is a SRE (customer) Order.
