We get it, you have insecurity issues. And judging by the incident where you got your headlight broken during road rage and just sat there and wet your pants and got a ticket I can see why. It's ok, you were picked on as a kid, calm down it will be fine.

Obviously you've never driven a traditional sports roadster to hold such an "it's-beneath-my-dignity" attitude.

Here's a somewhat more serious 4-cylinder sports car. Only 2.0 liters and normally aspirated, and it eats Porsches for breakfast in the corners (at track days, the owner of this particular car has reportedly beeped the horn at Porsches so they'll let him pass them).

I have a dealer brochure for the 2004 Monte Carlo which gives the horsepower figures.
Different engine is why...

Monte's had the L67, which was a Series II motor. The GTP in 2004-2006 had the Series III 3800, L32. Biggest difference was a different supercharger

You guys really take your lives too seriously. For the last time: there are lots of sports cars out there. My V6 is considered a sports car but it’s still jut an average everyday driver car. The sports cars that I like are the large impressive ones, not the tiny 4 cylinders with multiple turbos. It’s an opinion, I’m more impressed by the large cars than the small ones. I just don’t take 4 cylinders seriously, you can make anything fast, but I still like the way the large V8’s sound. I don’t really know why you’re all crying so much, get over it.

I guess there really isn’t anything to do in Kentucky when you aren’t doing your sister or watching the wildcats. You’re awfully obsessed with me if you stalked my profile that far back or even remember a year old post. I have no idea who you are.

And he paid to fix my car so um, yeah no idea what you’re rambling about.

Putting down what you see as "lesser cars" doesn't make the ones you do like any better. Just sayin' . . .

They’re sports cars! For the love of god they’re considered sports cars. I just think the true sports cars are ones that aren’t daily drivers. You guys should just learn to accept that’s my opinion.

Since it isn’t dead, I might as well guide the topic a little bit since I’ve got another question

Are you all familiar with the Ford Performance Handling Track Pack? It’s apparently a handling kit they sell which is optimized for track people instead of ‘grand tourers’. The review i saw said they were putting down 1.11 G’s in a corner (a picture of the cars display was included to back this up).

Is this better than the camaro ss in terms of handling? Those are some pretty insane numbers.

More of an SS 1LE level package. No ideas concerning any subjective handling comparison, but you'd have to be pushing them both pretty hard to find much difference.

Maybe not as hard to come by as you think.
