Overall I'm pleased. There are still some development issues, but I view them as minor. The GUI and UX are miles ahead of Apple Car Play.

We have the same phone, I was curious to know if you have the wireless charging pad, does it work with the 5X?

What mine wants to do is take yo back to the highway/major route...after 3 or 4 times of answering all the questions, I have to stop and re-configure the route with OS if I still need NAV..

Well hopefully ill be getting the correct update today. Also they are replacing the passenger speaker by the rear seats today.

So got the update today and everything seems to work fine, but the software version is not 84089010. Has there been another version released. Ill post what version mine says later.

I got mine done yesterday, picking up my car in a little bit, I will see what version I have.

Ok my software version is 84089006. Its 4 numbers less than the one posted above. But everything seems to work, except I cant push the command button on the wheel to control AA.

Just an fyi for those with disabled OnStar.

if you pull the onstar fuse you lose the integrated microphone and android auto will not provide any means of bypassing the usage of the bluetooth audio in connection that it is using when AA is active. Holding the voice steering wheel button will trigger android to "listen" but it wont hear anything.

If you're just rocking bluetooth though, you can click the microphone icon on your android device and it will cause the phone's microphone to become the active audio-in instead of bluetooth. Allowing voice input. You can also hold the steering wheel button down and while this will trigger android to "listen" the bluetooth mic is the active audio in - so it wont hear you talk until you press the microphone icon on the phone.

Any bug fixes or changes besides "adding android"?

My car was built 3/23, software version is 84028483. My crap dealer didn't even attach the rubber tire deflectors, left bunch of parts in my trunk! After reading this thread I learned they were suppose to update mylink!

I don't own android phone, but I just want to make sure I have the latest possible mylink software, because so far I miss my 5th gen mylink system!! So much better than this trash:
