Did you see how much weight in the front? Weight is 13% more in the front. All of this Mustang Fanboi's harping about the GT350 not being FI and all the weight in the front of a ZL1 and now they are eating their words and back pedaling.

The GT500 Oinker of a car. It will need all of that horsepower to make up for all of that weight. It will be so nose heavy and burning up those brakes in the front. The brakes will fade after a couple of laps, then lap times are slower because it won't stop. Ford F-ED up.

Yeah its heavy, but the 760 horse and the DCT and with factory 3.73 gears it is going to be fast guys.. straight line real world stuff fast. Camaro needs the LT5, and a DCT to be competitive 0 to 60 , 0 to 100 and the 1/4 mile...lets be real guys. The Gt500 will kill the ZL1 in probably any roll race also.

I don't think anyone is going to argue the added hp & going straight...what are you going to get in the twisty's with the 500 for a car some will lucky to purchase for even $20k over sticker??

For all the hype, those extra ponies should smoke the ZL1 at any & all road courses including the Ring'...question being, will the weight brought to the table carry those 110 ponies for the application beyond a roll race??

A demon has as much chance as beating me at COTA as I do him at the 1/4...most of us are viewing the head to head differences entirely differently in regards to what sort of performance you are gonna get for the $$$.

There is no doubt we need the LT5, but will gm give it to us??

I think the 4225lbs is fantastic for us Z owners. That weight really closes the gap between the 500 and the Z. Sure it will still pull on the Z but I doubt it’ll be as extreme as previously expected.

What does the 3.73 Axle-Ratio do...nothing. Most all Mustangs have come with that for years.

It does. I have always said they look like a catfish, even the GT350. I like the GT350 better.
