We had 4 8/10 inches of rain overnight last nigh. Pool is almost overflowing. Hope it ends before the weekend!

Lots of rain here east of tampa. Rainy season has started a few weeks early. Cool air aloft has caused some severe storms.

Congrats Sm55ith. I have 2 ages 12 and 2. Most emotional thing is seeing your kid (daughter) with her kids. Seems like yesterday that we brought her home. Whooops, time for a ride in Red Speedy to bring back some youth! !

Congrats!

Not looking like I will have any grandkids. Guess I'll just have to keep acting like a kid myself!

Had some computer work to do tonight & it took me longer than I expected. Now I am sleepy. Nighty night crew.

We had rain here in North Peoria, probably about 100 drops.

Got "conditional" approval to continue the pool build today. When the builder backfills all of the holes for the pipes, the large rocks have to be left out. The construction mgr was laughing and saying "guess I'll have to sift your dirt". I'm no pool builder, but even I know why you don't bury big rocks on top of PVC pipe.

We were rudely awaken this morning by someone ringing the doorbell at 5:25 AM. A crew is here to shoot gunite into the pool. Sure wish I knew they were coming. But 5:25 AM?!

So here he is walking around the building with the Ass-Kissers in tow and all of them taking notes. So what does my husband do, he jumps into the middle of the Butt Wiper pack, pen in hand and a Roll of Toilet Paper to write his notes. Of course a few in the group burst out laughing and a few were infuriated. That's my husband!

Now that is some funny stuff!

If that happened where I work, someone would be escorted to HR. Over the years, they have lost all sense of humor in the quest for shareholder value.

Well I got to come home early today & get a head start on my weekend. That is nice but it is a good news/bad news thing. The bad news is I don't seem to be able to get clients to show up consistently in Springfield. If that does not change I might not be able to keep my Fridays in Springfield. :( But it is nice outside. I'm just waiting for the sun to go down a little as it is also really hot & humid. We may take the Camaros out for a nice drive tomorrow weather permitting. There is still a chance of rain on the forecast for every day. We shall see.

Hey Skip, can you hang onto that precipitation for about another day? There's a track day coming up at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course that at least 6 Camaro5 members will be attending, and most of us would really rather drive on a dry track.

Please win your fight.
