I have been slammed in the road and not anywhere near caught up on the thread. Looks like I will have several chapters of new posts to read when I get home next week.

While I have been gone my plate showed up. My wife installed it and sent me this pic.

Who said I was addicted? I just have a healthy excitement for all things Fifty Camaro lol.

Bummer on being slammed at work. I know the feeling. Haven't been on here like usual. It's peak season at my job as well as lost some staff.

Looks good! Love the flag plate, especially with white. I pick mine up next week, I did decide to make an appointment to avoid the lines at the CA-DMV. My inlaws live in Scottsdale, AZ and I would love to take some drives around AZ - it's so beautiful and wide open in places, unlike Los Angeles. But I have to somehow figure out how to take my minivan AND my Camaro when we visit... If I do I'll be contacting you for some ideas on drives... but somehow I don't think it will happen. Maybe my husband can drive the kids and all our stuff in the minivan and I can take the Camaro! Or they can fly with all the luggage and I'll take the Camaro! Or I can pay to flatbed the Camaro to AZ and drive the van.... Ok maybe we will just have to take the van LOL. But some of those backroads are so nice.

Oh I forgot - got my new splash guards installed yesterday and they finally tracked down my premium mats that I was supposed to get with the car but somehow came in separately and a few months late. The paint on the splash guards is way better - no more two-tone blue mistake. The install I'm still not thrilled with. However the adhesive did settle down a bit on the old ones so I'm hoping that since this install is better to begin with the adhesive will shrink up a little over time and suck the splash guards tighter to the car. Honestly I hardly noticed how horrible it was over the last few weeks and this install is better, so I'm just going to live with it. I am SO glad I got the splash guards. Really helps keep the car clean and the rocks down. I honestly can't explain to you how terrible the roads are here in Los Angeles, and I live in a pretty nice area of Los Angeles. I'd rather live in the Midwest again (I'm from St. Louis) where there is a freeze/thaw cycle - at least they fix the roads when they have a problem!!!
