i had to keep it on because i wasn't totally confident with the tires. They make a lot of niose when cornering and felt greasy to me. I will try playing with the pressures next time.
Yes they are 295/20.

The car felt amazing, inspired confidence. I know there is a lot left in the car, but for a first time out I'm really satisfied with the car. Lap times were in the ~2:02:XX range. No complaints from me. I did decided to keep the PTM in Sport 1 for this session. Don't know if Sport 2 or RACE would've given ME any benefit. Will be looking forward to heading back out onto the track soon (As work permits)!!! Anyone that owns one of these HAS to track it at LEAST once!! I'll upload some more from these sessions in the next few days. Comments/Advice welcome.

Thanks,
Jason

Awesome pace! Apparently you haven't forgotten much in 15 yrs Thx for posting the vid - if the car is capable of sub 2mins (on stock tires) than it is truly amazing...

Laguna Seca has a 90db sound limit. Turn the exhaust exit away from the sound booth and the car becomes "quieter". I was NOWHERE near Randy's time, that dude is a true wheelman. I was mostly running consisted 1:40's, with a slight dip below that one lap. I was slipping and sliding all over the place, can I use the excuse that the track was pretty green? The morning was wet... Regardless a 137.9 or whatever he ran is crazy fast.

I still can't figure this car out, some corners it was pushing like mad, and others it was loose and I was fighting the tail. I don't know if it was the track conditions, my driving style (most likely), or the cars set up. Strange...

We had a really great turn out too from Camaro's. Myself and 3 other Camaro6 members were there (two 1LE's and a ZL1). Along with two Z28's, a v6 1LE, and a couple of regular SS's. We played around, so hopefully some of them have some good footage.

FYI, the brakes weren't amazing but they handled the abuse with minimal fade. I will throw on some track pads before coming back though. Still incredibly surprised at how well this car is dialed in showroom form. Laguna is very hard on brakes...
