^this is true. About 8 years ago I was using one to move one of our $15k rate tables from a lab in one building to another and decided to ride it across the parking lot. Had to make a curve and it tumbled off and did a one-and-a-half onto the pavement. It just suffered a couple of mild scrapes. Passed calibration just fine. Still using it to this day. Ideal-Aerosmith makes good stuff!
