Hey there, first time poster but I have been following this thread for a while. I submitted an order in early February for a 2021 2SS 1LE that was accepted by GM in March just before the factory shut down. I just got an update from the dealership that the TPW is the week of August 23...I guess I should feel lucky to even have an order with a TPW at this point for a 2021. For those of us waiting, hopefully we get our cars soon enough to get some miles in before winter.

I'm really hoping I get something before winter. Honestly, if delivery estimates is November I will pass it up.

Should we expect an influx of inventory coming this summer?

Dealers have been getting new 2021 in recently. Dealer 35 miles from me got a few in last week. Apparently they must have been the ones completed back in May when the plant fired up for a week.


It's supposed to fire back up in a couple weeks. So probably mid July new 2021 Camaros should be hitting the lots assuming dealers are ordering them. But inventory should get better next month or at least you can order one and it will be built.

They are likely units built all the way back to March. They are now completing and shipping out units that were built in March/April and that have been sitting waiting on microchip related parts.

You guys seeing any market adjustments from your dealers on these cars that youre waiting for? I've seen some other makes and models with upwards of +25K on the stickers. I presume that at ordering you had an agreed upon price?

FORD Mustang GT350/500 always marked up/also Raptors and

I qualify for employee pricing. My preferred dealer sold me a new 21 Trail Boss LT Silverado the other day for employee pricing and the $4000 rebate. They also had to trade to another dealer to get it. When I ordered the 2021 2SS 1LE in February, we agreed that he would sell it at employee pricing. Nothing in writing though. But I did not put a deposit when ordered so if they say they can't do employee pricing I can just walk away. Which they are probably hoping for so they can sell it for MSRP and make more.

Got a call Friday saying my 21 order would have to be pushed to a 22. Ordered in March a few weeks before the initial closure for the super conductors.
