Hey gang. I just "inherited" a laptop that runs Windows 7 with IE10. The equipment I'm used to runs Windows XP and IE8. On this "new" one if I click QuickLinks and the Subscribed Threads on my old systems I would get a list of the threads that I like to watch on a regular basis. On this new laptop when I click "Subscribed Threads" the dropdown list goes away but my list of Subscribed Threads never comes up. Anyone know where the setting is that is causing this nonsense?

I spent the day digging in the dirt. I planted flowers in all my pots on the deck, around the house & around the garage. Then broke, turned the soil (spade, by spade) and broke up the soil in a 12x6 flower bed that I have not fooled with at all in 2 years. The soil was rock hard. I separated & saved all the bulbs then planted some flowers there. I was out working from noon until 6:00. I will be sore. My daughter got here just as I was finishing up. I went in & showered while Mike got ready to grill some steaks & brats. We are all just sitting around on the couch now. Nice to have my firstborn home. Now if I can just get my prodigal son to come home.

Good morning crew. I am not hurting as badly as I expected, but I can sure feel it. Sometimes being old sucks. Jina is still sleeping as is Mike. I rather like my alone time in the mornings. I dread going back to work. That is the worst part of a holiday weekend. Jina will run around today visiting her friends, Mike's parents & my dad. Hopefully I will get to see her this evening when I get home. She said she might spend the night tonight with her cousin (my sister's girl). If she does, I might not get to see her. She is here for a few days & I'm sure I'll get to spend some more time with her. I just hate it that I can't get a day off to spend more time with her, but I just can't. Have a good day back to work everyone.

I hear ya Jan - while a Holiday off is nice, we pay for it by cramming 5 days' of work into 4 afterwards...
I have to leave work early today to sign papers at the lawyer's office. Divorce should be final this week. Hopefully everything settles down once it's all done. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
