so I played Battlefield last night for like 6 hours and it is addicting as hell....the campaign missions are super fun. played a lil online and it's pretty tough. superb game and really worth the money so far. Untill MW2 comes out with new maps I will be playing this for awhile....get it. you won't be dissapointed

I have NFS shift too, and it just isn't GT... it's not even old school NFS. But unfortunately it doesn't look good for GT5. They are guessing late Q3 for North America release, now that the Japan release has been delayed.

I played GTA3 and one of the spin offs but I never got any further than blowing stuff up and seeing how long I could escape the police with 4 or 5 stars. From what I've heard, GTA4 is more of the same but with better graphics.

I played NFS: Shift when I rented it from blockbuster. It was fun, but the only thing that kept me playing was the Camaro and drifting was ok. But no offline multiplayer? No reason to buy it.
