Online search for the Mobile M1-114A varies on the bypass pressure. Some places say 22 psi ,others say 25 psi, and some say 22-25 psi... I don't think Mobile publishes the spec, but they would probably divulge it if someone sent them an inquiry. I was checking out filters at Walmart recently and the Mobile unit looks well made and comes with a plastic cover to keep dust, etc. from getting into the filter while they're in the box.

Wix claims 22 psi bypass right on their website for the LT1 compatible filter. I haven't seen one in person. I may go this route on the next oil change. I'm not impressed with the quality of the AC Delco filters after checking a few out in person.

I can’t seem to get the multi-quote to work…

There’s no word that I’ve seen, indicating it’s officially being discontinued- that was a presumption and bad wording, on my part.

What I do know is the high-volume retailers haven’t had any in stock, for a couple of weeks. Amazon, Rock Auto, and my local Wal-Mart have always had PF64’s in stock. Since late May, there aren’t any available.

There are still a lot available, at places that don’t move as many.

As others in this thread have referenced, there is some chatter about the PF63A, PF64B, or another being the latest iteration.

It could be a temporary shortage, due to the First Brands Group closure, in April. I don’t know if they made the PF64, or if there are more people buying the PF64’s, due to there being less of other options.

I've used that filter since 2018 and have nearly 50k miles on my car with a lot of autox and track use. N=1 report but it works for me...

Because these cars aren't really designed for extended oil change intervals, the choice of oil filter probably isn't all that consequential.

I've also switched to M1 Supercar 5w50 oil. Not good for very low temps, but likely better for track use.
