Yeah, maybe, if there is no "mating" or any other replacement protocol, which would be quite the surprise.

Well, anyway, I'm not here to argue the manufacturer's case , plus this isn't adding much value to the thread, so I'll just keep quiet from now on, OP is already informed enough to make his own decision.

The second you decide to "Tune", you give up warranty, either come to terms with that or don't "Tune", it really isn't that hard... If you are messing with the engine and tune, there is no reason whatsoever that GM can't say "We're Out!"... You are now on your own... I honestly can't blame them... We all know there are some great tunes out there, but we all also know there are some really bad tunes out there, why should GM have to deal with those really bad tunes that were not theirs??? I'm all for the car owners, but let's be real...
