Hey buddy, I hear what you're saying. For clarity, I believe it was David Wiliks that pointed out that the OEM bolts are not even TTY. They are one of the few bolts that GM suggests you replace every use, but not because they are TTY,. rather due to the fear people would not clean the bolts / threads before re-use?

Either way... like you said, they are not cheap. And reusing them is with clear risks. Going the ARP route was simple... it's what I wanted to use myself, and was shocked no one had them made yet to spec... so I did. In the process we made them a pinch longer to allow for more thread engagement for better torque distribution. If anything... the ARP is the "cheaper bolt" after several uses ... to your point, ARP is awesome!

Gotta love those SS 12-points, right?
