After having 2 Gen6 Camaros and 1 C7... this is pretty normal. You 'get what you get' with paint.
Want to get jealous... go look closely at a Lexus or 911. The paint on my 911S was incredibly well applied.

I was actually surprised with the paint on my 1LE. I was expecting orange peel, runs, etc but you could say I was “Shocked”. My panel edges/corners are ok too. Not as nice as my Lexus but above average for GM.

The paint jobs on the Camaro were not great. Many threads on paint flaking off of 1 year old cars. Bare spots. Gee, I wonder why Camaro sales were low???
