I am still kind of mad that my wife said I could get a new 2025 Camaro 6 months after you could not order one anymore:( My 2017 1SS has 156,000 miles on it now

Wow, congrats on putting it to good use. I have 95K on my '17.

I am kind of attached to her now, paid for and see no reason to sell it. Thanks

I sure do miss ordering Camaros and I really miss our lot stocked up with Camaros like this.

I've ordered some pretty rare 6th gens over the years.

Gearhead I think you’re responsible for ordering half of the 6th gen 1LE’s in existence.

I miss that time period as well, not just because you could easily find a Camaro, but car buying was just simpler back then, specially in the used market. Now everyone thinks their shit is hot (private sellers and dealers) and aren’t as willing to negotiate. Cars have gotten so expensive (even with incentives that have returned) there are less private sellers willing to deal as it makes more sense to trade in now.

Look at them all, what a sight! It's kind of similar to my local dealer, but now with Vettes instead.

I like the green ones, but red and green should not be seen (together).

Early 2017 I decided I had to have a ZL1. Checked the local dealer and they never had a ZL1 but had some Camaros so I checked colors and got a feel for it. Visited many times and a young sales guy said they would order one for me at MSRP. At that time no markup seemed like a deal.

Stopped by another dealer and they had a ZL1. Manager was a jerk and told me that was my only chance to own one. They could not be ordered. I told him it was the wrong color, wrong transmission and I did want the sunroof. He told tough. Also he wanted $10k over.

I thought I better go back to the other place and see if they would really order at MSRP. I saw many people on here having trouble finding one or ordering one. The young guy took me right to the manager who was great, and we tried ordering the car. They were not making any more 2017s but told him to order in the next 2 weeks and I will get a build in the first run of 2108s. I got it in just a couple months, July of 2017, and the last digits of the vin are 528 with zeros in front.
