That definitely looks good, though I'd like to have a standoff or spacer so the knob is a bit further from the boot.

Yeah there's very few options out there for adapters, and I tried another one @ $100, and that was too tall for my tastes. While this one isn't perfect, it's good enough for me as function > form.

I jumped on the Raceseng bandwagon when they were having their going out of business sale. The knob is definitely heavy but I like it, it has more authority when it hits the gate. Haven't had any trouble speed shifting, and I prefer the larger grip over the factory knob. I also like that it sits a bit lower than factory. For under $100 it was worth it just for aesthetics. Overall more comfortable shift. My car is mostly a garage queen so it's always a comfortable temperature, but the knob came with a glove you can put on it if I were leaving the car sit in the sun during the summer or out in the cold in winter.

Glad I picked up a weighted knob and extender from Raceseng before they closed. The shifting experience is smoother and reduces effort, but does increase throw a bit. (I don't like short, notchy shifters that require moderate effort.)

It's not for everyone. The guy that runs the performance shop I use drove my car and didn't like the increased height and throw.

Seems like most all things you do, learn to do it right before you learn to do it fast.
Amateur practices until they get it right, a professional practices until they can't get it wrong.
