i would cut the factory air box, do an LT2 manifold and get a reputable tune on the car. it will remain quiet and remove most of the factory choke points. should gain around 30 whp & 30 wtq. budget friendly, easy to do and drive/sound completely stock.
i think doing headers + cats from there would be in the neighborhood of $100-150 per hp depending on brand. subjective value. as well as add noise.

Headers, E85 tune, LT2 intake manifold, Rotofab intake and of course a tune are all excellent bolt-ons.

Like most said intake, intake manifold, and also at least ported 87 throttle body and I would throw in ATI balancer if have some extra $ to burn since your not doing e85, headers.

Got it. Headers, intake, intake manifold and a tune will get you significant gains. Headers in particular really improve performance especially above 5000 rpm's. The power and torque are maintained and don't drop off anywhere near with the factory manifolds.

Hello all, I just recently became an owner of a 2017 Camaro 2SS fifty anniversary edition and have some similar questions. This beauty already had a lot of extras done to it and I am very happy with it. I think the first thing I would like to do is get this car running on E85 since it seems like a relatively cheap bolt on mod to gain HP. Lethal Garage sells a nice flex fuel kit that seems relatively easy to install. My question is once you install the flex fuel kit and obviously get a tune for E85/91 octane, can I run either fuel or is it best to just stick with the E85 for the long run? Stock intake, cold air intake, no headers, dual exhaust NPP option with Borla S-type axle back system. Will this setup be ok to run E85?
