Looking good! Time to add some power… (what can I say, I’m a bad influence).

lol, no idea. I bought it this way. Let me go look, brb...
Doesn't look like it. Supposed to be a true square setup. Last edited by tortilla-flats; 01-08-2025 at 04:00 PM. |

Decided to change up the under hood cosmetics. Followed the directions in this thread...

Actually, I'm really liking the stock look under the hood. I'm starting to sway to keeping the mods minor/inconspicuous.

Well I've got a Mamofied MSD intake in the pipeline. And thanks to GMS, I have a Katech 103mm TB on the way.
I've also been sitting on a DSX flex fuel kit and a green filter. First race is 3/23 (1/8 mile); I'll be able to get a fully stock baseline. Hopefully, the intake will be delivered soon after and I can get to work on this. Anyone know of hooking up the 103mm to the stock air intake box? |

Disappointing day at the track today. 8.189 @ 90.31 w/2.05 60'.
Looks like I'll need to immediately upgrade to 18" wheels. The20" wheels appear to have a problem triggering the staging beams. I had planned to put on 20" drag radials this week, but cancelled that so I can run down some 18" wheels. |

Also saw that the lower air dams under the front spoiler need to be replaced. Anyone have the part number handy?
Looks like... 23408773 23408774 |

Looks like the correct (i.e., spouse approved) way to do this is with a dedicated drag pack. Off to look at what's available.
Settled on the Weld Belmonts. Fronts are on backorder tho.

Well, I'll be horn-swaggled! I went to check the fitment of the jack puck I bought and turns out the previous owner installed the ZL1Addons lift pads!

Got the DSX Flex Fuel kit installed and setup with a basic enablement tune.
Not real happy with the sensor part touching the brace. I'll fart around with it some tomorrow. Got rid of the clips holding the line to the intake cover. That helps to better posistion the sensor. Also, make sure you check for fuel leaks and tighten any fittings as necessary. I think I may swap this out for the SMG setup. Last edited by tortilla-flats; 04-19-2025 at 10:17 AM. |

I had a weeping leak at the nut on the fitting leading into the sensor. Saw 2 other reddit posts with the same issue. I ended up just replacing the fuel line with the factory line and I'm leak free now.
I posted a new thread about the issue I was having but it never got past mod approval, I guess. |
