There may be some odd ball years out there where this isn't the case, but at least for any 2017+ that is how it works now. Pretty sure all of the C7's/Z06's work this way too back to 2015. 2014 might be a weird year. I think maybe that's why I was confused here?
Yep that is what I have experienced as well. The other 2 posters were trying to tell me they have FSCM's in their ZL1's and I was politely trying explain that they don't. They have a FPCM that the settings are controlled through the ECM side on HP tuners and a CCM to control the exhaust valves. That isn't the same thing as a FSCM equipped car like the 2014-15 Z28 and 2016 SS has.

Thanks for correcting my misunderstanding ! I'm always glad to know the "right" terms etc as related to my car!

I used love talking in acronyms just to mess with people. Apparently the jokes on me now, because I’m having to look everything up now.

And that's why I was confused. I know the difference but I didn't recognize you said FSCM vs FPCM

FPCM = Fuel Pump Control Module
FSCM = Fuel System Control Module

I hope you didn't take what I said as argumentative. My acronym was wrong when I said it for sure but yeah I meant FPCM. Freaking GM and all their different options and RPO codes.
